How To Setup Frequency and Duration Targets

This guide is designed to assist in effectively setting up and gathering accurate data using either frequency or duration measures for targets. Whether you are setting up new targets or tracking ongoing targets, the following instructions will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring that you are well-equipped to manage and record data accurately.


Setting Up Frequency or Duration Targets: 


You will have the option to select the recording type for targets at the curriculum library level or create and customize it on a client level. To establish the target type, create or edit the target and choose either 'frequency' or 'duration' from the 'Target Type' dropdown menu.

After saving, your providers will be able to collect data based on the frequency or duration of the selected targets.


How to Collect Data on Frequency and Duration Targets:


Frequency Target:


Select the target, and a tally counter will be provided to record the number of times the client engages in the activity. After recording, save the data point. 


Note: It is possible to work on other programs and return to collect frequency or duration data as needed.


Duration Target:


Select the target, and use the provided timer to measure the duration of the client’s activity. After you are done collecting data for this target, you will have the option to stop the timer and save the data point.




Note: Remember to select 'save' to secure your data point.
