Collecting Data on the Mobile App

In addition to our web browser option, clinical data can also be collected on the mobile app. The process for using both platforms is identical. To collect data from the mobile app, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the Menu button in the top left corner.

  2. Tap on Collect Data

  1. Type your client’s name in the search box and tap it to proceed to program selection. We recommend selecting Sync Master Data at least once daily at the beginning of your first session to ensure all programs and targets are up to date. If you cannot see a particular client listed, you may need to ask your administrator to assign this client to you.

  1. Select the programs you will be running for today’s session. You can select individual programs or tap  All to run all programs. Once you’ve made your selections, tap Start.  Note: Programs, targets, and prompts must be set up in the web browser before using the mobile app.

  1. From the Skill Acquisition tab in the app, you can collect data on both Task Analysis (TA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT) programs. Tap the dropdown list of the desired program and select the target.

  1. After selecting the target, the prompt codes will display, allowing you to mark them accordingly. You’ll see a confirmation message at the bottom verifying that data was saved, along with the number of trials recorded in the ongoing session.

  1.  Tap on Today’s DTT Data to review or delete any trials recorded by mistake using the recycle bin icon.

  1. To collect data on Task Analysis (TA) programs, select the target and tap Data Sheet Icon.

  2. A new window will open with the steps listed in order. You’ll need to select a prompt level for each step and tap Save to record the trial.

  1. Behavior reduction data can be collected from the Behavior Data tab, located between the Skill Acquisition and Notes tabs. Behaviors are categorized by dimension and data collection method, such as Frequency and Duration.

  1. To record Frequency Data, tap the plus sign (+) to add a tally or the minus sign (-) to remove one.
Make sure to tap Save after recording the behavior count.

  2. Similar to Skill Acquisition programs, you can delete behavior count or duration recorded inaccurately by using the Today’s Frequency Data button and tapping the recycle bin icon next to the unwanted data.

  3. To record Duration Data for behaviors, switch to the Duration tab at the top and start the timer. Multiple timers for different behaviors can run simultaneously. Be sure to tap Save after stopping each timer, as failing to do so will prevent the total duration from being recorded.

  1. To record partial interval data for behaviors targeted for reduction, tap the Partial Interval tab to start the timer.

  2. If the behavior is observed during the interval, tap the checkbox to mark it. The interval will be recorded as “Yes” if the behavior was observed, and the checkbox will reset for the next interval.

  1. You can also stop the interval and record the behavior occurrence by tapping Stop and Save

  2. To save any notes relevant to data collection, please use the Notes tab and tap Add Note.  Do not use this section for session notes; those should be recorded by editing the appointment in the Main Menu.

  1. To run maintenance programs, tap on the Maintenance tab. From there, you can select which programs to run and proceed to collect data as outlined in steps 4 through 6.
