How to Move Programs and Targets To a Different Domain


In this guide, we’ll show you how to reorganize your Programs and Targets within the client's Data Collection Setup module. We’ll begin by demonstrating how to move an entire Program, along with all associated Targets, to a new Domain. Next, we’ll walk you through moving a single Target from one Program to another. This guide is designed to streamline your data management, ensuring your programs are well-organized and easy to access. By reorganizing Programs and Targets in the Data Collection Setup module, you’ll be able to manage and access the data more efficiently.

How to Move a Program to a Different Domain


Step 1: Open the Client Menu

  • Click on the Client Menu icon.


Step 2: Select a Client

  • Choose the client whose program, domain, or target you wish to edit.


Step 3: From the Menu, Select 'Manage Client'

  • Click on 'Manage Client' from the menu.


Step 4: Select Data Collection Setup

  • Click on 'Data Collection Setup' under the Manage Client menu.


Step 5: Select a Domain

  • Choose a domain. For example, I am selecting the domain labeled 'Farming'.


Step 6: Select the Program You Wish to Move

  • Choose the program you want to move. For example, I am selecting the program labeled 'Stay Away From Dragons'.


Step 7: Click 'Move to Different Domain/Program'

  • Click the 'Move to Different Domain or Program' button.


Step 8: Select the Program You Wish to Move

  • From the dropdown menu, choose the program you want to move. For example, I am selecting the program labeled 'Stay Away from Dragons', as I want to move it to the Avoiding Adventures domain.


Step 9: Select the Domain Where You Would Like to Move Your Program

If you're moving an entire program to a different domain, skip the target selection.  

  • Under 'Move Program/Target', select the domain where you want your program to be located. Then, choose the desired domain from the dropdown menu. For example, I am selecting Avoiding Adventures.


Step 10: Click 'Move'

  • Once you've made your selections, click the 'Move' button.


Program Has Been Moved

  • The program 'Stay Away from Dragons' is now located under the Avoiding Adventures domain. Next, we will demonstrate how to move a target to a new program within a different domain.

How to Move a Target to a Different Domain


Step 1: Select a Domain

  • To move a target to a different program, first select the domain where the target is currently located.


Step 2: Select a Program

  • Choose the program where the target is currently located. For example, I am selecting the program 'Stay Away from Dragons', as I want to move the target 'Making a Toast' from this program.


Step 3: Click 'Move to Different Domain/Program'

  • Click the 'Move to Different Domain or Program' button.


Step 4: Select a Program

  • Choose the program where the target you want to move is currently located. For example, I am selecting the program labeled 'Stay Away From Dragons'.


Step 5: Select a Target

  • Choose the target you want to move. For example, I am selecting 'Making a Toast'.


Step 6: Select a Domain

  • Choose the domain where you want to move your target. For example, I am selecting 'Feasting' as the new domain for the target 'Making a Toast'.


Step 7: Select a Program

  • Choose the program where you want to move your target. For example, I am selecting 'Meals with Friends'.


Step 8: Click 'Move'

  • Once you’ve made all your selections, click the 'Move' button.


Target Has Been Moved

The target 'Making a Toast' is now located under the 'Meals with Friends' program in the Feasting domain.
