Before a session can be billed for a client or counted towards any payroll hours for the staff , that session will have to be rendered (or completed). Please follow the instructions below for information on how to render sessions in the system.
First, you will need an appointment in the system. This can be billable or non-billable.
Hover over the appointment icon, then click the Create Session Note button (this will say Create Non-Billable Note for nonbillable appointments).
This will open the SOAP note template. You will need to fill out each field on the note, click save, then your signature before the note can be completed.
For some organizations, you will also need to add the parent or guardian signature before the note can be completed.
Once the necessary information has been entered and the required signatures have been added, the Complete button will be highlighted.
Once you select Complete, the session will be rendered. You can distinguish rendered sessions by the checkmark icon in the top left corner of the appointment on the schedule.
Billable sessions will appear in the Ready to Bill tab once they are rendered, and will appear on the staff’s payroll report as payroll hours. Non-billable sessions will only appear as payroll hours.
