This guide will cover how to create an appointment, update an appointment time, and reschedule an appointment using the Scheduling Drag and Drop Feature in Theralytics.

Creating an Appointment
To create an appointment:
- Click on the desired start time in the schedule.
- Drag your mouse down to the desired end time to set the duration.
- The Create Appointment window will automatically pop up with the start and end times pre-filled, saving you time.
Updating an Appointment Time
To change the time of an existing appointment:
- Click and hold the appointment block on the schedule.
- Drag it to the new time slot where you want to move it.
Confirm the Change
- A confirmation window will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen.
- Click "Move" to apply the change.
- Once completed, a green confirmation message will appear in the same spot, verifying that the update was successfully made.
Note: Please be aware that you will not be able to drag the appointment to an unavailable time slot unless your user role has permission to create appointments outside of staff availability and/or client availability.

Rescheduling an Appointment
To reschedule an appointment to a different day or time:
- Click and hold the appointment block on the schedule.
- Drag it to the new date or time where you want to move it.
Confirm the Reschedule
- After making the change, an orange box will appear in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click the "Move" button in this box to confirm the change.
- Once completed, a green confirmation box will appear in the same spot, verifying that the update was successfully made.
Note: If an appointment that has already been completed and has an attached completed session note is modified, only the Date of Service (DOS), Start Time, and End Time that are adjusted will be updated. Everything else, including captured signatures, session data, and recorded information, will remain unchanged on the session note.
